Marek Różycki

Marek Różycki was educated in the Poznan State Ballet School in Poland.
His first professional engagement was with the Polish Dance Theatre under Conrad
Drzewiecki, who was at that time the most innovative choreographer of the Polish dance
scene. He also danced with the Bremer Dance Theatre, and the ballets of Deutsche Oper Berlin and Staatsoper Berlin. His repertoire included numerous roles from the renowned classical and contemporary repertoire, for which he had the privilege to
work with world famous classical and contemporary choreographers.

Following his dancing career, he worked as first ballet master and choreographic assistant for Peter Schaufuss Ballet, based in Holsterbro, Denmark, as well as the ballets of Staatsoper Berlin and Komische Oper Berlin, where he was also the Associate Artistic Director.

Today, he teaches ballet throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and serves as a judge at major international ballet competitions. He is currently the Acting Artistic Director at the Berlin State Ballet School. He also continues to pursue projects in choreography and guest teaching, as well as collaborations with artists in film, photography, art, and music.
